Oktoberfest, Day 3

We all got up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready to go to Munich. Leanne had an interview for a job in Munich at 10am. We dropped her off and walked around Marienplatz until she was done. When she got done, we called Margarethe and met up with her to head to Oktoberfest.

We started drinking in the Augustinir tent, which was Markus’ favorite Bavarian beer. I have to agree. It was awesome. After two liters of beer each and a half chicken, we left to go move bags from the car to Margarethe’s apartment. It was a good hour break that slowed us down. When we got back, we went into the Häufbrau House and started enjoying the festivities in there.

Now imagine, a football field size tent full of people drinking liters of beer, hanging out with friends, and listening to a live band playing really good music! It was awesome! We lasted until about 10pm. And it was worth every minute! We walked back to Margarethe’s apartment and we all passed out!
